When you & your show-runner are the last ones standing in Video Village…
Under-eye bags: check.

And something else I love about working on this show:
These people. My heart. We were together for 5 months writing a thing. So thrilling to be together again, and hear it come to life with actors.
…in which the TALES room (+ significant others) takes in a drag show. Some of us occasionally forget where the camera is (me and Hansol)…and the rest of us were born for Blue Steel.
Now that it’s finally announced instead of just leaked, I can say without getting sued:
This is my job.
Los Angeles is always trying to kill me by hiding avocados in EVERYTHING. Today I fearlessly ate a series of tacos, none of which caused me harm, because our Writers’ PA protected my life with the thoroughness and attention to detail of his lunch order. THANK YOU / I am seen / best tacos in the world.
When you’ve been sent away from the writers’ room to write the outline for your episode… Just getting all my notes together…
When you’re both writing in different rooms and you are definitely NOT talking to each other, or taking breaks to go get smoothies, or taking breaks to go on a hike, or taking pictures and texting them to each other, and you are getting SO much writing – not even Done, but Accomplished.
When your queer TV writers’ room does pottery painting as a group bonding activity… and, upon seeing your finished piece, your friends say: “This job really seems to make sense for you.”
